WB Health Scheme Hospital List 2025
The West Bengal healthcare scheme provides Cashless Treatment and aims to offer the best support to the state govt employees and pensioners in the field of medical and health care. For members of the existing WBHS Hospital List 2025, pre and post-hospitalization expenses are covered for up to 30 days.
- The scheme beneficiaries will get cashless treatment up to Rs 1 lakh in impaneled hospitals per indoor.
- In case the treatment is done in non-impaneled hospitals 60% (80% where the number of beds is more than 80) of the approved cost or the actual amount paid whichever is less.
- Beneficiaries will get reimbursement for any indoor treatment that exceeds one lakh based on a claim to DDO/PSA.
- All existing members of the West Bengal Health Scheme will still receive benefits as per their original policy schedule.
- The implementation of this policy is with the help of a Government Authorised Agency (GAA) that is deemed fit to run the scheme.
- Beneficiaries will also get reimbursement of OPD treatment costs incurred during the period of thirty days for the same cause for which indoor treatment is taken.
- Reimbursement for certain specific diseases OPD treatment will also be given.
- Beneficiaries will also get reimbursement for certain specified follow-up treatment costs as well. The cost of treatment in certain specialty hospitals outside the State.

How to Claim the West Bengal Health Scheme?
The scheme works on a cashless basis. Therefore, if the treatment cost is under the stated package, the beneficiary does not have to settle the hospital bill as the treatment will be covered as per the scheme. If the cost exceeds the limit mentioned in the package allocated for the treatment, the additional expenses of the bill shall be settled by the beneficiary and the hospital, and there shall be no claim for the exceeding amount.
Claim Reimbursement Process
- Submit the cashless card while getting admitted for treatment at an impaneled hospital.
- Health Care Organisations shall send an authorization request to the Government Authorised Agency (GAA).
- GAA will check the details and approve the request.
- Post the treatment, the HCO or the hospital will send the bill to the GAA. The bill shall be accompanied by required documents like a medical report, doctor’s certificate, discharge summary, etc.
- GAA will verify the sent documents and then transfer the amount to HCO.
