Vaishno Devi Yatra lasting 365 days is the wish of every devotee. The Shrine Board makes every effort to ensure that the pilgrims visiting Vaishno Devi are facilitated. The Yatra was the only traditional passageway a few years ago. There were horses, Pitthu, and palki services available for devotees on the traditional 13-kilometer trip. The Shrine Board built a 5.50-kilometer-long road from Adkunwari to Bhawan in the year 2000. The battery car service has begun here.

Mata Vaishno Devi Battery Car Online Booking
Mata Vaishno Devi Battery Car Service can be reserved online. You must have an internet-enabled mobile device and a credit or debit card, the OTP for which will be sent to your registered cellphone number. You can also pay through UPI or net banking.
The booking of a battery car on the Shrine Board’s official website can be done up to 60 days and up to 04 days in advance of the journey date. The online booking window opens exactly 60 days in advance at 10 a.m.
Please keep your mind that online Battery car booking is only available to pilgrims aged 5 and over. Infants/children under the age of 5 are permitted to travel only with an adult passenger (on their lap) and a maximum of two (2) infants/children are permitted in a single ticket.

Battery Car Online Booking Process
- Visit the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board’s official website and sign up to create your official login account, or log in if you already have one.
- After logging in, go to the ‘Online Battery Car Booking’ link to order Vaishno Devi Battery Car Tickets.
- Select either the Ardhkuwari to Vaishno Devi Bhawan or the Vaishno Devi Bhawan to Ardhkuwari route when ordering your tickets.
- Select the number of people and the date of travel (yatra). Check ticket availability for that specific date.
- The time slot, seat availability, and fare will all be displayed in the new window.
- If the time and date are convenient for you, click “Book Now.”
- After filling out all of the information, double-check the data, then click on the Booking to Pay Online button and follow the instructions that appear on the screen. You may check the progress of your booking by logging in with your username and password and clicking on successful transactions. All successful transactions would be displayed on the website. You can print your reservation by selecting the reprint option.
Important Considerations
Online booking of battery cars can be done a minimum of 4 days and a maximum of 60 days before the journey on the official website of the Shrine Board. Online booking time opens at 10:00 a.m.
- Passengers must bring the actual credit or debit card used for the transaction, or their reservation and boarding will be refused without a refund.
- The only way to cancel the Battery Vehicle Ticket online is through the online mode of the official website. If you cancel up to two days before your intended departure, you will receive a 70% refund.
- All passengers must have a valid photo ID and proof of address. Without these documents, boarding will be refused. Passports, driver’s licenses, voter IDs, PAN cards, and credit cards with photos are all acceptable forms of identification.
- In a calendar month, a maximum of three battery car seats can be reserved per account and credit/debit card.
- In the event of inclement weather or technical difficulties, riders must directly produce their online battery car ticket to the appropriate operator and acquire a receipt for the refund process.
